1. The Contract Between Us

1.1 – Payment in full is required before your keepsake blanket is created.

1.2 – In some cases, we may accept a deposit to secure your order slot. Deposits are non-refundable.

1.3 – By placing an order, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

2. Pricing & Payment

2.1 – All prices are listed in GBP and can be found on our website. Payment methods include PayPal, credit/debit card, or bank transfer.

2.2 – Shipping costs are added at checkout unless stated otherwise. You’ll see the total price, including postage, before completing your purchase.

Quilting is an optional extra and will incur an additional charge. This service is clearly listed as an upgrade during the ordering process.

No extra fees will be added for items like bibs or accessories unless agreed in advance.

2.3 – No items will be dispatched until full payment is received.

3. Returns, Cancellations & Custom Work

3.1 – Orders for custom-made keepsake blankets cannot be cancelled or returned once work has begun, unless faulty or made in error by us.

3.2 – Each keepsake is unique and may differ slightly from photos or examples shown.

3.3 – Any requests to cancel an order must be made in writing via email: mothersneedle@hotmail.com

3.4 – If you are unhappy with the final result but the product is not faulty, we may agree to attempt an alteration for a fee. Postage costs to and from us will be your responsibility.

3.5 – If a return is accepted due to fault, we will cover return postage. Please retain proof of postage and use a tracked service.

4. Cancellation by Us

4.1 – We reserve the right to cancel your order if:

• Items required are out of stock or unavailable.

• We no longer offer the service.

• An incorrect price was listed due to an error.

• Delivery is not possible to your address.
  4.2 – In these cases, you will be refunded in full.

5. Delivery

5.1 – Orders are sent to the delivery address provided. Please double-check all shipping details before completing your order.

5.2 – Estimated turnaround times are shown on our website but may vary.

5.3 – Turnaround times are subject to change during busy periods.

5.4 – You become the owner of the goods once delivered. We are not responsible if someone else collects the parcel at your address.

5.5 – We are not liable for delays or damage caused by postal carriers.

6. Customer Items & Design Decisions

6.1 – We are not responsible for clothing items lost or damaged in transit. Please use a tracked delivery service when sending items.

6.2 – Design choices (layout and fabric placement) are made by us unless otherwise agreed. If you have special requests, please communicate clearly via email or include a written note with your parcel.

6.3 – Unused clothing and offcuts will be returned with your finished product if requested. Otherwise, offcuts will be responsibly disposed of.

7. Events Outside Our Control

7.1 – We are not liable for delays or losses due to events beyond our control (e.g., postal strikes, illness, weather, fire, etc.).

8. Product Disclaimer

8.1 – Each keepsake blanket is handmade and one-of-a-kind. We aim for high standards, but small variations are normal.

8.2 – Sizes are approximate due to the handmade nature of our items.

9. Website Use & Copyright

9.1 – All photos, logos, designs, and content are the property of Mother’s Needle and may not be copied or reproduced without written permission.

9.2 – Website content is for personal use only (e.g., viewing, ordering, or learning about our products).
